OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
EPIX is seeking an executive to oversee post-production matters for its licensed and owned/self-produced scripted and unscripted original programming.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide network/studio executive oversight of the post-production process from greenlight across all phases of editorial and delivery
• Review/approve post-production budgets and schedules
• Review and approve key post-production personnel and vendors, including editors, composers, and main title, VFX, and sound and picture finishing vendors
• Facilitate review and network approval of show credit sequences, in close coordination with creative and business affairs executives
• Review and provide feedback on rough cuts, including with respect to music, VFX and graphics, and approve broadcast masters (creative QC)
• Coordinate with show post staff, operations, business affairs and others as needed in connection with physical and paper delivery of shows
• Attend color reviews and mix playbacks (if needed/budgeted)
• Attend cost report meetings and advise on post-production savings/overages issues
• Oversee creation of DCPs as needed for festivals and premiers
• Work closely with creative executives, business affairs, operations, creative services and other EPIX departments to meet expectations and deadlines
Basic Qualifications:
• Obtain significant television post-production understanding and experience across both scripted and documentary programming, preferably in both executive and producer roles
• Superior knowledge of current post-production workflows and a wide array of media asset types
• Familiarity with customary television standards and practices, domestic and international broadcast standards, content security protocols, and physical/paper deliverables requirements
• Experience with digital delivery protocols, QC, and rejection resolution
• Obtain significant television post-production understanding and experience across both scripted and documentary programming, preferably in both executive and producer roles

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, maintaining superior judgment, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
