Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a Vice President of International Television Distribution for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the sales of feature films and TV series into Latin America across SVOD, Pay TV, Basic Cable and Free TV
• Manage existing output deals and negotiate new output deals across Pay, Basic and Free TV
• Lead all contract negotiations for the region
• Implement a sales management process and guidelines for regional sales executives to achieve content value optimization
• Create a Spanish language content strategy that generates a consistent, annual slate of features and TV series that can be sold in the region
• Increase library package sales through the strategic windowing of driver titles
• Determine additional license fee increments associated with new media utility, such as catch-up and temporary download rights
• Provide senior management with clear rationale for all deals through negotiation strategy and financial analysis
• Create and deliver on annual budget plan for the region
• Attend all relevant sales markets and make local sales trips
Requirements:
• 10 years' experience in content sales, strategy, or business development within the Latin American market
• BA/BS degree
• Spanish fluency, Portuguese is a plus
• Excellent contacts in all Latin America territories across all TV media buyers (Pay, SVOD, Basic and Free TV), especially in the key markets of Pan Latin America, Mexico and Brazil
• Experience negotiating output deals, strong negotiating skills, able to analyze deals through financial modeling
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
