The Senior Audit Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the preparation for and servicing of audits of the Company's books and records by third party participants, guilds and others. The Employee will provide operational support for the department's monthly close process and analytical support for the participations, residuals and legal teams.
Responsibilities:
-Manage participations, guild fringe and production audits
-Coordinate with the in-house production and residual staff as well as outside payroll service providers
-Analyze accountings and relevant agreements
-Reconcile accountings against transactions reported in relevant source systems
-Gather documents and other information relevant to the audit, including those responsive to auditor requests
-Analyze and quantify claims
-Review reconciliation and other work prepared by analysts
-Manage audit calendars, paperwork and digital files in coordination with the department paralegal
-Support the participations' department's monthly financial close
-Assist in the preparation of materials for and participate in monthly close diligence and review thereof
-Support diligence of new account/market combinations mapping
-Support diligence of monthly ''paid revenue v. reported revenue''
-Assist in the creation of the monthly departmental diligence assignment list
-Provide research and analytical support for participations, residuals and legal teams
-Provide substantive training of staff for SAP and reconciliation procedure, and assist in the creation and validation of staff reference materials
Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. degree with a major or minor in accounting (preferred), business or finance.
• Minimum 3-years' experience is preferred
• Exceptional excel proficiency
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Reliable under deadline
• Ability to adapt to different software environments
