Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking a Recruiter and Human Resources Generalist to provide support in multiple HR areas with a primary emphasis on recruitment. In this role, the ideal candidate will cover the recruiting essentials of searching for top tier talent and will help develop recruiting strategies that promote effective methods to source and evaluate talent for the company.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage full cycle recruiting process: identity, engage, evaluate, and hire top candidates to join our growing company
• Partner with the hiring managers throughout the interview process to develop job descriptions, identify candidates, manage the candidate experience, and offers
• Manage the inbound applicant pipeline, while identifying passive job seekers using a full range of recruitment tactics and resources
• Understand requirements and sourcing challenges of each role
• Provide quick and pleasant experiences for every candidate from application stage to offer while evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, and closing of candidates
• Ensure progression of recruitment activities: ensure that candidates are moving through the interview process, feedback is collected post-interview, and candidates are kept in the loop of status
• Work with managers and Human Resources team to ensure proper hiring/transfer/termination processes are followed utilizing in-house tools to complete the transactions
• Assist in ongoing efforts to reinforce excellent performance management through regular feedback and improvement efforts
• Counsel management and employees on a variety of issues; interpret corporate policies and procedures
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree
• 5 years overall in Human Resources; prior entertainment industry experience a plus
• Cooperative, supportive, and positive team-oriented approach
• Must have knowledge of full life cycle recruiting
• Must be able to handle highly sensitive information and maintain confidences at all times
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, other database programs)
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills are of the highest importance
• Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and expertly problem solve
• Self-starter with a driven, motivated work ethic
• Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and a wide range of clients, individually and in a group
