Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a Senior Manager of Scheduling and Forecast Delivery in the Worldwide Distribution department. This department delivers movies and TV shows to TV licensees, broadcasters, and all digital platforms. The Scheduling and Forecast Delivery Manager is responsible for providing an accurate short term and long term forecast along with a capacity outlook. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the line of businesses that they support. To be successful in this role, the Manager must be able to identify risks (financial or operational) and escalate such risks to the SVP, VP and ED of the Delivery Department. The manager must work collaboratively among operational groups and pre-emptively gather relevant, title-specific, and event-driven data points. They must also be highly analytical and capable of curating large amounts of data in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Scheduling and Forecast Delivery Manager oversees and maintains data inputs specific to the Material Orders and Servicing System specifically used to forecast, schedule, track, monitor, allocate resources and generate performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the curation, posting, maintenance, relevance and archiving of all "key dates and events" of and/or related to achieving WW delivery target objectives
• Prepare Delivery Forecast Reports, model operational throughputs, and labor forecast through predictive analyses
• Understand staffing and scheduling processes, identify gaps / root causes, and propose / implement new solutions
• Drive ongoing improvements to forecasting methodology
• Responsible for working with business to gather requirements and configure solutions within internal and external systems
• Collaborate in a team environment independently with vendors, business partners, and technology teams on projects; support activities to drive key initiatives
• Create and support custom reports and audit inquiries from the business
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes and procedures
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure data accuracy, system health, and metric measurement
• Run regular and ad hoc reports to monitor and audit system processing jobs, interface integrity, and ensure interfaces are created to drive the most efficient processes
• Collaborate on the development of repeatable, scalable solutions by enabling increased efficiency and value
Requirements:
• Worldwide film, television, and digital platform distribution acumen
• Worldwide asset media and localization scheduling knowledge
• Strong forecasting, analysis, predictive analytics, and modeling skills
• Analytical mindset and well-versed in creating analyses with tools such as MS Excel, Power Point etc.
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments, and effectively communicate requirements to resources from cross functional teams
• High level of customer service and communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Data Science, IT, or other relevant experience
• 5 years with digital encoding, packaging, and delivering to international broadcasters and digital platforms
• Advance knowledge of Excel preferred
• Experience working in a support environment with SLA's
