Full Time Job
This position reports to the Director of Localization and Project Management and works with various vendors and multiple internal teams to schedule, update status of work in progress, manage change and rejections logs and source assets as needed for the localization of current and catalogue content.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Technical Ops and Servicing Teams to research and locate Source Assets needed for various Localization Projects.
• Manage day-to-day correspondence on project matters; provide regular status reports and proactively offer solutions and or escalate blockers to upper management.
• Collaborate with Internal and external Localization peers to define and document best localization practices.
• Partner with relevant internal teams to draft and maintain localization style guides e.g., subtitling, metadata, and best practices documentation for all assets.
• Manage localization and Project Purchase Orders/Invoicing and processes within SAP in a timely fashion, disputing and resolving invoices as needed
• Review and update episode file names and asset information in MGM vendor's inventory for servicing and posterity
• Must be able to lead and delegate work to project stakeholders in order to ensure that all operational targets and project objectives are met.
Requirements:
• 2 years of international localization and media distribution experience
Preferred Requirements:
• Knowledge of dubbing, subtitling, closed captions, accessibility, audio/video file formats, codecs, frame rates, video resolutions, aspect ratios, audio configurations.
• Strong organization, communication skills (verbal and written), and keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio.
• SAP experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and vendors.
• Must also work independently and efficiently
• Experience with file and tape inventory systems and related data entry.
