Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a Contract Services Manager who will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of deal management support for all Transactional, such as PVOD, TVOD and EST, including output deals.
Responsibilities:
Deal Management
• Coordination with Sales to clear product, advise on conflicts/issues for worldwide transactional rights management
• Review and proof data input of deal memos and change orders to proprietary systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Window management for worldwide transactional for current features and TV series, including monitoring of product availability release dates. Properly manages product license windows and holdbacks that flow through the sequence of media in the territories
• Monitor and review data on client websites to ensure compliance with content availabilities
Output Deal Administration
• Window the approximate initial transactional availability dates based on trigger dates and output window lengths
• Generate sales and availability reports as needed to satisfy output deal requirements
• Create and maintain deal specific contract abstract summaries. Review and summarize deal specific points for relevant information such as rate cards, term, product type, etc
• Maintain calendaring database to ensure all contractual requirements, such as no later than dates and notification deadlines are captured
• Create and maintain Output deal specific transactional trackers
• Communicate with clients regarding upcoming contractual notifications for Output deals
• Contract data entry/administration
• Maintain contract files and historical documentation and generate reports as needed
Systems:
• Develop and maintain proficiency in proprietary and non-proprietary systems including Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) database. Advanced Word and Excel functions, SAP/IPM and Microstrategy
• Manage large scale availabilities processes and presentations such as EMA avails
Qualifications:
• Five plus years of experience in sales/contract administration or related field at a Manager level
• Strong understanding of digital/transactional required
• Demonstrated ability to read and fulfill contractual obligations for global licensing deals
• Understands and applies the concepts of window management and contract administration
• Strong Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree
• IPM, Mediamorph and StudioConnect experience and partner platforms a plus
