Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a MGM Channels Programming Coordinator. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail oriented, with excellent computer skills and a passion for film and TV.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with tracking MGM Channels programming availability needs by submitting bi-weekly titles for shelling for THIS-TV, MGM-HD, COMET-TV and update MGM Channels confirmed titles into the Master Tracking list to inform strategic title usage.
-Utilize MIO to research availability of TV edits, HD master, closed captioning, and other materials availability and enter any changes into the Master Library list and the V Look Up Master Library List.
-Report and track financials for the accounting group for THIS-TV, COMET-TV, MGM-HD and Impact and check with residuals department when TV titles are added to avails.
-Maintain accurate Master Library list.
-Assist with delivery of feature titles needed for THIS-TV materials.
-Maintain accurate records for THIS-TV 3rd party acquisitions by updating calendar, creating proposals, evaluating acquisitions.
-Assist with THIS-TV marketing materials.
-Update the THIS-TV Quarterly avails and title exhibits and distribute internally and externally on a rolling basis when titles are dropped or added.
-Assist with MGM Channels title scheduling and program listings
Requirements:
-BA/BS Degree
-1-2 years of entertainment industry experience
-Passion for television, film programming
-Highly organized and detail oriented
-Strong computer skills in Word and Excel
-Proficiency in PowerPoint
-Ability to learn proprietary technology
-Marketing/Branding/Writing experience a plus
-Knowledge of MGM deep film library a plus
