Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking an experienced?Cloud Engineer?to join its Media Technology Group (MTG). The ideal candidate will work with MTG team members, vendors, and executives to deliver complex multi-disciplinary technology projects.
Responsibilities:
• Implement, maintain, architect, and troubleshoot DNS, IPAM, and DHCP services
• Provision and administer Infrastructure as code using best practices for enterprises using AWS
• Build and support email integrations and migrations
• Configure and support various SMTP relaying mechanisms (O365 and AWS SES)
• Perform patching, upgrades, mitigations, etc. to ensure the security of our infrastructure
• Perform complex scripting tasks to automate and ensure exact and consistent execution of tasks
• Implement, operate, and troubleshoot the automation and monitoring of systems to maximize performance and availability
• Investigate and troubleshoot problem areas
• Document procedures, configurations, trouble descriptions and problem resolutions using prescribed toolsets
• Communicate with other stake holders and cross-functional teams to work collaboratively on shared goals
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for our production systems
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services (AWS Solutions Architect)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, DNS, NAT, VPC's, NACL's, SG's)
• Proficiency with the following scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Cloudformation(CDK)
• Experience using or building CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience building, deploying, maintaining containerized workloads
• Experience working with complex distributed systems
• Experience with the usage of common application protocols and messages(TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP,SMTP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON)
• MCSE*
Preferred Qualifications:
• Customer centric with a strong sense of urgency
• Working knowledge of cloud Idp (Okta)
• Foundational understanding of security best practices
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
