Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join its Media Technology Group (MTG). The ideal candidate will work with MTG team members, vendors, and executives to deliver complex multi-disciplinary technology projects.
Responsibilities
and Duties:
• Analyze, design, and optimize a highly complex, enterprise level Active Directory service in a hybrid on-premises and cloud hosted environment.
• Implement, maintain, architect, and troubleshoot DNS, IPAM, and DHCP services in Active Directory
• Provision and administer Infrastructure as code using best practices for enterprises across multiple public cloud offerings
• Manage O365 users, groups, shared mailboxes
• Build and support email integrations and migrations
• Configure and support various SMTP relaying mechanisms
• Perform complex scripting tasks to automate and ensure exact and consistent execution of tasks.
• Implement, operate, and troubleshoot the automation and monitoring of production clusters to maximize performance and availability.
• Investigate and troubleshoot problem areas
• Document procedures, configurations, trouble descriptions and problem resolutions using prescribed toolsets.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for our production systems.
Qualifications:
• 5 years experience with Microsoft Operating systems and related technologies including, IIS, SQL, Active Directory, Office products and patching technologies.
• 5 years managing Linux systems
• 5 years experience with VMWare, AWS or other virtualization technologies
• 3 years experience with storage technologies (physical and virtual)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, DNS, NAT, Subnetting)
• Working knowledge of cloud Idp (Okta, OneLogin)
• Proficiency with the following scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Cloudformation
• Experience using or building CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience decoupling O365 from on-premise exchange
• Experience with the usage of common application protocols and messages(TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP,SMTP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON)
• Foundational understanding of security best practices
• Customer centric with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• AWS Architect Certification*
• MCSE*
