EPIX, an MGM Company, is seeking a Digital Editorial Assistant who will be a vital player in the daily operations of the digital editorial and product engagement teams.

You'll be responsible for executing the content strategy across all web platforms and app home screens as well as metadata creation for all titles in our CMS. You will work closely with the programming teams to promote our originals and movies, as well as product, engineering and operations teams to ensure a best-in-class user experience for our subscribers on both EPIX and EPIX NOW. You will be a close collaborator alongside the digital design team, helping to support the quality assurance of our editorial experience on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as well as provide insight into the CMS product lifecycle.

You need to have a passion for media, a penchant for grammar and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate reads (and we mean reads) iMDb for fun; turns to Wikipedia during a movie researching all of the actors instead of paying attention to the plot and can immediately call to mind a favorite movie poster.

You must possess a collaborative spirit, a go-getter attitude and a fervent desire to learn something new each day, while still enjoying and knowing how important the habitual tasks you perform are to the broader success of the company. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Download and catalog assets from studio sites for movies within license windows on monthly basis and organize accordingly for team's use
• Build and program pages in the CMS for all movies, shows and specials, including input of all metadata
• Collaborate with broader digital team on stunts to support content premieres and promotions
• Using our homegrown schema, create original metadata for all movies, originals, series, and episodes
• Support editorial efforts in regards to brand voice, including copy writing descriptions and synopses for movies
• Track editorial deliverables for each sprint
• Assist in the capture of key workflows, processes, and documentation for the team to ensure shared knowledge of CMS tools and features

SKILL REQUIREMENTS,EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• BS in English, Communications or Marketing
• Excellent organization, research, and communication skills
• An adoration for film and television -- you want to know it all!
• Experience with content management systems or similar dashboards, a plus
• Can-do attitude and dynamic personality
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Problem solver and able to effectively juggle multiple to-dos at a single time
