Part Time Unpaid Internship
Position Purpose
The Team Services Intern will perform a wide variety of administrative activities for the VP, Team Operations & Player Programs while also supporting other staff members in accomplishing projects and tasks that impact daily operation of the department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with planning and execution of department events and programs/workshops.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, newsletter, schedules and other documents, including research, assembly and analysis of data for team reports and player engagement documents.
• Design and update player and team schedules, announcements and calendars on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Tracking of player appearances and programs; research industry best practices.
• Provide support services: travel management, forms/records management, facilities management, promotional merchandise inventory, purchasing, equipment maintenance and repair, mail distribution and messenger services, office support, telephone coverage and general support to visitors.
• Update team relocation handbook and department reference materials.
• Available to work home games during the season; maintenance and set up for game night family lounge.
• Assist with athlete autograph requests and team signing days.
• Milestone and special occasion acknowledgement.
• Gather media content from team and player appearances for future use.
• Assist with booking reservations and appointments as needed.
• Off-site errands and support services for the department, as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding time/task management skills
• High level of integrity and emotional intelligence
• Must be a team player with a strong customer service focus
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the internet (PC and Mac)
• Office hours 40 hours/week including game nights. Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs with or without reasonable accomodations
• Candidates must have a car, valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
