McDonald/Selznick Associates (MSA) is looking for a Talent Agent in the Creative Department of their LA division.
This individual will represent a high caliber roster of some of the industry's leading choreographers, directors and producers. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, dedicated professional with existing industry experience and a keen eye for talent. They should have extensive experience pitching talent, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
This is a full time, in-person position at MSA's LA office.
Responsibilities
- Represent and manage a roster of talent in the Creative Department (choreographers, directors, producers and their associates)
- Grow and maintain client relationships with client roster and industry professionals
- Pitch clients for a variety of projects to casting directors, producers, and industry professionals
- Negotiate contracts and structure deals on behalf of clients
Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience in the talent representation, casting, or entertainment industry
- Track record of negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to identify and grow emerging creative talent
- Basic accounting skills (creating accurate invoices and following up on payments)
- Experience using industry sites and programs (Breakdown Services, Casting Networks, etc.)
- Proficiency with the entire MS Office Suite, Adobe Pro, Social Medias, and Zoom
- Willingness to attend industry events monthly

$68,640.00
