The A-2 Audio Engineer works with the Production staff and crew. The A-2 is responsible for assisting the A-1 in the successful implementation of all audio related elements for LIVE events at MPAC. This job has a heavy emphasis on modern technology. Experience mixing LIVE entertainment on digital consoles is a must. Attention to detail and working efficiently are paramount.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, upkeep of all audio related inventory including minor repairs, cleaning and safe handling. The A-2 is responsible for mixing on-monitors for acts at MPAC that do not travel with a monitor engineer, and supporting when the show does carry an engineer. The A-2 will be expected to work closely with the A-1 and all Production Team members, sometimes outside of the audio department, for the common goal of quality product.
