We are looking for energetic, creative, proactive, and detail-oriented interns from LA and NY to join us for our 3 month SPRING internship program. (we can consider individuals outside of LA & NY)

***Due to Covid-19, our employees, and interns will be working remotely (except for events) until further notice****

Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or Media-related major
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Must have a great work ethic and be resourceful
Ability to handle working under tight deadlines with excellent accuracy
Dedication to the position and pride in you work is necessary
Up-to-date on PR and Social Media trends
Experience with Photoshop and Microsoft Office and Mac proficient is a plus

This is an unpaid internship with compensation. You must be able to receive school credit. You must have a car and laptop. Commitment of 2-3 days per week (10am-6pm) with some possible weekend dedications for events. Strong computer skills are required.
Start date: March 5 2023 End Date: June 4 2023. We will consider non-local candidates.

Internship Description:

Answering and screening phone calls
Answering and screening emails
Researching new key contacts for all clients
Researching journalist contacts
Compiling press reports
Brainstorming new social media strategies for clients
Tracking and scanning all media clips
Reaching out to relevant outlets and news sources
Assist in writing press releases and media alerts
Assistance organizing employees' clients schedules
Assistance with updating our media database and special interest database
Begin to build long-term relationships with all media
Proficient in: Canva, Slack, Muck Rack, Gmail, and other Social Media Editing Softwares
Also helps if you have a proficiency with Photoshop or In Design
