Paid Intern - General Management and Producing

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Maximum Entertainment Productions is a Producing, Development and General Management Office with commercial productions currently in various stages for Broadway, off-Broadway, and Tour.

Our office is seeking energetic and reliable interns for the Fall. It will be a special time to assist our office as you will participate and observe in the development of Broadway-bound productions, preparations of two brand new off-Broadway productions, and assist in the operations of a national tour.

Interns in this concentration will have the opportunity to gain specific experience in the General Management, Company Management, and Producing operations of a production. The goal is to provide not just knowledge, but actual hands-on experience to become better-prepared to enter the workplace. Interns in this area should expect a focus in the business operations with tasks to include: marketing-related research, attending readings, providing script coverage, assistance with payroll/accounts payable and budgets, assistance with contracts, etc.

Applicants must have an excellent phone manner, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and experience with Word and Excel. Must be a responsible and a detail-oriented problem-solver with a positive attitude.

Start and end dates are flexible. We would like the position to start close to the beginning of September (negotiable). End date is also flexible and to be discussed. Preference will be given to applicants who are available full-time (Mon-Fri 10am-6pm).
