This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Internship Start Date/Season: March 2025
Internship Duration: Three months.
Time/Days Required: 6-12 hours per week.
Workplace Requirements:In-office and on-location.
Tasks:
• Operate camera at red carpet events..
• Interview celebrities on-camera. (you might be not be on-camera sometimes)
• Create, write, and edit a one-minute entertainment news story on an event you covered for social media reels.
Requirements:
• Be a recent graduate or enrolled in a college program that focuses on media or journalism.
• Have dependable transportation.
• Some experience using cameras, video editing, and conducting on-camera interviews.
Information:
• This internship is hands-on. No running errands for food or coffee.
• This is an unpaid three-month internship. (please advise if for college credits).
• In-person internship (not remote). Located in the heart of Hollywood.
• This is internship is for our new youtube channel @focushollywood (re-launching this 2025)
• 6 to 12 hours every week. Afternoons & evenings. Event coverage will always determine the amount hours in a week.
• Red carpet coverage is dependent on publicists approvals. Coverage of popular or A-list events is not guaranteed. Publicists will determine the credential numbers; typically, they are two or occasionally three.
• International graduates and students are welcome.
Looking for: (please advise when applying)
• Camera operators.
• On-camera reporters.
*Every intern will have one week of training in-office.
Internship dates:
• Spring: March - June
• Summer: July - September
*In-person interviews will take place in January and February of 2025 and last 30 to 60 minutes, including some on-camera introductory tests.
