MAVTV is expanding our team in Indiana! We are looking for a Manager, Broadcast Traffic to assist with the daily preparation and maintenance of on-air traffic logs, utilizing meticulous management of commercial inventory and promotional assets to maximize network revenue.
In this position you will get to:
Schedule and proactively manage commercial inventory to maximize revenue and campaign accuracy
Input Direct Response and General Market orders in accordance with sales orders
Schedule on-air promos and other on-air assets
Create and schedule advertiser sponsorship elements (block IDs, lower 3rds, etc)
Be responsible for gathering and delivering internal assets (graphics, on-air promos, etc.) to partners
Ensure all materials are received, downloaded and processed correctly by deadlines
Provide comprehensive customer service and support to internal sales team, clients and agencies
Secure and accurately input traffic instructions
Manage revisions and missing instructions for assigned advertisers and communicate with the sales department and/or clients regarding the status of any issues
Work with Accounting to process credits or other account adjustments when necessary
Manage storage of commercials and purge spots as necessary on expiration dates and client requests
Assist in the preparation of post logs and other reporting
Must be available by phone or email on nights, weekends and holidays on occasion
To be successful in this position, you must have:
2+ years of broadcast traffic experience
A four-year college degree or equivalent experience in broadcast industry or other related field
General knowledge of the broadcast television advertising process
Strong organizational skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
The ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with internal and external clients, affiliates, managers and coworkers
