MarVista Entertainment is seeking a coordinator to support its Content Operations team. This role will be focused on coordinating all incoming and outgoing A/V and all down-streaming efforts as related to distribution, sales, production and marketing. The person in this role will need to be organized, detail-oriented, pro-active and with the ability to exercise good judgement and communication.
Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Tracks all incoming A/V assets as related to the delivery schedule in Production and Acquisition agreements and distributes to relevant internal parties.
Updates the inventory system as new media assets are received.
Coordinates the approval process of incoming materials and provides visibility into the status of the process.
Liaise with internal parties to ensure assets received are acceptable.
Coordinates and facilitates creation of assets with outside vendors.
Creates selected assets in house (distribution, marketing, sales)
Generate metadata associated with individual assets for specific distribution platforms.
Ingest and organize all digital assets for review and mastering process.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience with high-volume production/coordination
The ability to prioritize and apply appropriate resources where needed
The ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of the process in an extremely fast paced environment
The ability to learn things thoroughly and quickly
Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
Understanding of NLE software (Adobe, FCP, DaVinci)
Video and Audio Codecs
