Marvel Studios, part of The Walt Disney Company, is offering a JD Intern position for Spring 2025. The intern will work remotely with Marvel's Business & Legal Affairs team, supporting in-house attorneys in various entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property matters related to feature films, streaming series, and animated productions.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with preparing and reviewing above-the-line and below-the-line agreements for Marvel projects.
• Analyze intellectual property rights, clearance issues, and legal matters related to Marvel assets.
• Support production-related legal matters for live action, streaming, and animated projects.
• Review, update, and prepare form agreements.
Required Qualifications:
• Enrolled in an accredited law school, having completed at least one year by the start of the internship.
• Relevant coursework in entertainment law, intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, and negotiation theory.
• Strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship or work experience in the entertainment industry or at a law firm.
Workplace Requirements:
• 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PST.
