Job Summary:
This role will support the Marvel Studios Franchise team by partnering with the VP on franchise strategy needs. This person will work directly with the Franchise execution team on all campaigns including, but not limited to consumer products, marketing, home entertainment, Disney , legacy film titles, and partnership campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Franchise VP, managers, Marketing team, and Marvel Studios leadership to establish over-arching Franchise strategies for each property to share with internal and external partners. This includes, but is not limited to: synopses, guardrails, character guidelines and biographies, filmmaker priorities, and editorial content
• Maintain active communication with the filmmaker on each property to ensure that production updates are being communicated to internal and external teams
• Travel to set when necessary for photo shoots. Ensure that poses and looks captured at photoshoot adhere to the needs of Franchise and partners
• Work closely with Franchise managers to plan and conduct partner set visits
• Build strong positive relationships with teams and vendors across all lines of business within Marvel and Disney.
• Be prepared to present creative with context and insight to Marvel Studios leadership and Disney Executives when necessary
• Present pitch decks to external partners and Disney lines of business when needed.
• Lead a team of Franchise staff to successfully execute creative vision across multiple platforms (2-4 direct reports)
• Actively participate in weekly creative calls with internal and external teams.
• Be up-to-date on trends and ensure creative adheres to the Marvel Studios brand and marketing positioning
• Advise filmmakers on script requests from external partners
• Review and approve all content requests from global Disney teams
• Manage annual Franchise budget
Basic Qualifications:
• Highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize large volume of projects.
• Ability to route and track creative feedback and approvals from high-level distinguished colleagues and effectively communicate to various vendors and internal teams.
• Must be detail oriented, proactive, flexible, organized and have the ability to follow-up often and in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Must have experience leading others
• Ability to prioritize over-arching franchise strategy when reviewing all creative.
• Must be comfortable presenting in front of internal and external partners
• Must understand the high level of confidentiality that comes with working at Marvel Studios and discern, with guidance from Marvel Studios leadership, what can and cannot be shared with partners in accordance with guidelines and set dates.
• Prior experience in production, post-production, marketing, or brand management needed.
• Must thrive under the unique brand of Marvel pressure.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote a must.
• 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Franchise within the Entertainment industry.

• Bachelor's degree
