Event Producer / Planner

The Position:
Candidate plans, manages and implements the company's overall Event Production efforts. He/She is responsible for the planning, design, coordination, control, and completion of large-scale events, tours and sponsorship activations. He/She also owns the responsibility of staffing, vendor selection and production, per creative and budget parameters.
Essential Functions:
• Project management of multiple events
• Project development including post-event analysis
• Detailed project plans
• Task progress management for time, quality, accuracy
• Budget management
• Management, negotiation and supervision for staffing and vendors
• Ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
• Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Work with both internal contacts as well as clients to make sure all benefits are delivered through both the Marketing Factory, Inc. and client vision
• Deliver the agreed upon media and activation benefits to achieve maximum client value/satisfaction
• Monitor competitive intelligence and analyze trends in the industry including pricing
• Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in events, brand activation and employee engagement, technology, techniques, style, strategy, & tactics

• Must have 5+ years experience creating, advancing and producing high-profile touring and fixed events
• Broad experience in event production, line production, event planning
• Ability to travel domestically for weeks at a time in production environments
• Ability to lift 50 pound boxes to a height of 3-5 feet and load them into trucks
• Ensure quality execution and client satisfaction
• Must adhere to company's policies and procedures
