Margie Haber Studio is seeking a Studio Manager
Note: This position is not available to those currently pursuing the industry as an actor, however prior entertainment industry experience and knowledge of acting is required.
Start date: October 2015
Margie Haber Studio is an internationally renowned studio for actors specializing in on-camera Audition Technique & Cold Reading. Margie Haber also has a communication division for business professionals.
The Studio Manager will work closely with the business owner on the daily management of filling a busy schedule of classes that hold over 200 students on a monthly basis.

Please note: this position is not available to actors. This is a business management position which requires full dedication, and is not suitable for those pursuing the industry as an actor.
This position bears the ultimate experience of ''wearing many hats'' in leading a business to growth and success. There will be a lot on your plate - no watching time ticking by here!
Here are just some of the hats you'll be wearing in this position: sales management, operations management, database management, marketing & branding including social media, web presence, SEO/SEM, press, PR, and oversee all company communications & correspondence including website, emails, printed materials, and email marketing. In this position, you'll also be connecting with out network of industry professionals who represent actors. This position will also lead a team of coaches, a Studio Coordinator, housekeeping, and intern assistants.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite
EXTREMELY organized
• sales experience
• exceptional business writing skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling and construction)
• business-savvy with stellar telephone skills
• commitment to confidentiality
• self starter/go-getter attitude/autonomous (no need to be micromanaged - you will be in charge of reaching goals on time)
• quick learner (you will be encountering new software)
• generosity of spirit - a ''people person'' - you'll be dealing with some eccentric personalities (actors) so this is a MUST!
• team player with a problem-solver/can-do attitude
• excellent communicator/self-aware
• eye for design (no need to be an expert, but an eye for design is helpful)
• time management and prioritization skills
• Photoshop skills a plus
Position salaried, DOE. Hours are M-F: 9:30 - 6:30 PM
