This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Internship Start Date/Season: January 2025 (depending on start date of your school semester)
Internship Duration: Spring Semester
Time/Days Required: At least 2 days per week
Mandalay is seeking interns for the Spring, 2025 semester. The semester will run from approximately January 2025 through to a date in either May or June, 2025 - depending on the start and end date of your semester. Note: Your internship can only start on or after the start of your Fall semester, and your internship must end on or before your semester ends.
Mandalay strives to provide students with an educational, real-world experience in several aspects of the entertainment industry.
Students will be exposed to as many facets of an entertainment business office as possible. This will include, but is not limited to, learning how to read a script and write coverage; the general workings of an office; the elements of preparing a production budget; the creation of a deal memo; creating pitch decks and sizzle reels, shadowing executives, joining meetings, and interviewing creative executives.
During the semester, students may be given projects based on the above, with the finished work required before the completion of their time here. This will include, but is not limited to, written/research projects, meeting with our executives and support staff, and pitching a project to our team. The last two are required.
The internship will be at Mandalay's offices in Los Angeles.
This is not a paid internship.
This internship is ''for credit only'' with the key requirement being that the student must be able to take the semester for college credit at a US college or university; and should they be accepted, on or before the student's first day, they will be required to provide an original/hard copy of a letter on their school's stationery so stating in order to start the internship. No faxes or scans or the like will be accepted.
