SEEKING SUMMER '26 IN-PERSON SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNS
We're seeking a smart, enthusiastic intern who is passionate about social media, is plugged into the latest trends, and wants to be a part of the world of film and television. As an intern, you'll work to help build our social media, taking over our TikTok and Instagram accounts, and generating multiple posts a week. This opportunity will be very hands-on and will give you a rare chance to share your ideas and contribute to the branding of our company. You will also be able to learn about the roles of other staff members and how an office runs day-to-day.

INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staying up to date on current trends and viral moments
Scrubbing our film library for clips that could align with current trends
Weekly reports to the entire company on what's going viral and how we can capitalize on it

INTERN BENEFITS:
Interns will get the opportunity to meet with all available executives and other staff at Mandalay Entertainment during their internship.
Interns will get the opportunity to present ideas to the entire company on a regular basis.
Interns will get the opportunity to build our social media from the ground up, implementing their own ideas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have social media experience, preferably Instagram and TikTok.
Must have experience editing video clips and photos.
Must possess a strong understanding of our film library.
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through.
Must be an excellent multi-tasker and have proven problem-solving abilities.
Must have a friendly, open demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Must be able to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Must be dependable and proactive.
Must be able to prioritize the workload and use time efficiently.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
The internship will be at Mandalay's offices in Los Angeles. Interns must be available to work IN-PERSON 2-3 days a week from 9am-6pm.
This is an unpaid internship for school credit only. Receiving school credit is required, and you must provide us with a letter from your university that confirms that you will be receiving credit for the internship. This internship runs the entire duration of a semester/quarter and must align with your school's schedule to receive appropriate credit.
OUT OF TOWN STUDENTS: Please make sure you are aware of housing and other costs to live in Los Angeles before you apply. Each student is responsible to locate and pay for all transportation, housing, and other expenses while in LA, and all personal expenses for travel to, from, and while in LA.
