Mamas in Music is seeking a New York-based Event Coordinator Intern to support 4-8 in-person community events each year. Great role for someone excited by event planning in the music world. This is a remote job but must be based in New York in order to plan and execute on the ground events accordingly.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning and producing local MiM events
• Research venues and vendors
• Handle scheduling, invites, and attendee communication
• Work with Marketing on promo assets
• On-the-ground support at events
Requirements:
• Must live in NYC
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable speaking with venues/vendors
• 15 - 25 hours/week (Will vary depending on event cycles)
Duration
• Start/End Date is flexible but ideally looking for someone that can commit for a minimum of 3 - 6 months
Additional Information:
• You'll work directly with our chapter leaders or organizational director depending on the event.
