As an intern, you will be exposed to a multifaceted non-traditional company housing a passionate team that come from a wide variety of disciplines. You will be able to gain a holistic understanding from development to final delivery and build practical skills that will be valuable for future endeavors.
We are looking for an intern that is eager to learn about our company and assisting various departments. Film production, advertising, marketing, art majors are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is highly professional, resourceful and well organized. Must be able to juggle priorities, follow-up on details to completion and work effectively during down time. This will be a part time position - college credit only. Must be willing to work in our LA studio.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Make off-lot runs to pick up various items for the studio (ie. equipment, food, supplies, deliveries etc), act as a runner to distribute messages or items within the team.
- Sort and distribute packages to all employees, assist with occasional shipping and billing.
- Perform research, administrative work (paperwork, filing etc), assist in day to day procedures and troubleshoot when necessary
- Maintain and upkeep stock of supplies, kitchen and facility
- Assist in other departments when needed and other various duties by supervisor
- Opportunities for on-set visits
Qualifications:
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Must have a car with valid license and insurance
- Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Able to respond quickly and prioritize time with minimal micro management
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Self starters who are enthusiastic, take initiative and assertive
Job type: Part time. This is an unpaid internship, you must be enrolled in an accredited academic program and must be eligible for school credit. Minimum commitment 16 hours/week (2 days)
