Songify Editor
Maker Studios is looking for an experienced editor with a musical background that can find a non-musical clip or clips and remix them into a song. Examples are the Gregory Brothers & AutoTune the News.
Responsibilities:
• Must be able to create their own musical track based on clips they edit together
• Responsible for following a project from the rough cut through upload and archive
• Will work closely with producers to ensure the quality of the video
• Audio mixing to ensure clear, professional audio
• Graphics, titles and motion graphics when needed
• Balancing multiple projects and being able to meet deadlines
• Managing assets for each project, including a Music Cue Sheet
• Exporting a YouTube Master and a Universal Master
• Keeping projects organized and ready for archive
Qualifications:
• Experience level, minimum of 3-5 years
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, or comparable NLE software
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others
• Must have technical problem solving skills
• Must be able to multi-task, and work under the stress of deadlines
