This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Maison Arts is a boutique record label & music publishing company based in Los Angeles whose focus is to bring a modern approach to the music business with clients benefiting from outstanding creative opportunities, financial transparency and new branding ideas. Maison Arts is seeking an A&R Research / Publishing Admin Intern for the spring semester.
Duties Include:
- Conduct A&R research by sourcing up and coming songwriters and producers.
• Identifying and tracking rising hit songs on various platforms.
- Monitoring charts, social media, and email updates for new talent.
• Work directly with A&R team to expand Maison Arts' roster of clients.
• Keep Maison Arts team apprised of developments in the publishing industry.
• Assist with various administrative tasks for Maison Arts' current publishing roster.
• Work remotely 10-20 hours per week, flexible with class/work schedules.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university studying the music business or a related field (marketing, business, communications, etc.)
• Interest in and passion for music of all genres.
• Experience with research.
• Organized with an attention to detail.
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills.
• Expansive knowledge of current music/pop culture landscape.
• Personal computer and phone.
• Remote, but based in LA is a plus.
Compensation:
• Course credit for the spring semester (required)
Our Spring interns begin in January.
