Magnolia Pictures is currently seeking a part time intern Marketing and Publicity interns to assist us for the Fall Semester. This is a paid internship in which qualified candidates will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all facets of a fast-paced, cutting edge independent film distribution company.
Qualified interns responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in grassroots marketing campaigns for films
- Facilitating research in multi-city theatrical markets
- Tending to the various office administrative needs of our company
- Managing the front desk, including answering all incoming calls and greeting guests
Qualifications:
• Candidate must be passionate about film distribution and should ideally have previous experience in or education pertaining to independent film.
• The ideal candidate is:
o Detail oriented, amiable, able to multi-task and a self-starter
o Comfortable with answering a high volume of phone calls
o Professional and has polished communication skills
o Proficient in both Mac/PC and Microsoft. (Adobe Suite skills are a plus)
Preference will be given to candidates who exemplify professionalism, motivation and passion for distribution and independent film.
Hours:
- Must be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
- Our hours of operation are 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
