As a leader on the DCL Recruitment Team, you will provide leadership, guidance and development to a high performing team of recruiters. Global strategic recruitment planning, strong relationship skills and daily collaboration with our operations and talent acquisition partners are key as Disney Cruise Line more than doubles its crew and officer base while bringing out 3 more ships and another island in the next 5 years.

Responsibilities:

• Innovation: Through consultation with the business leaders, determine creative and new ways to reach outstanding candidates who will continue to exceed expectations on board our vessels. Utilize insights, metrics and industry knowledge to continue to influence recruitment strategies. Be a talent advisor to our business.
• Curiosity: Seek to truly understand growth hiring needs by position, skills needed and operational expectations. Partner closely with the Recruitment Marketing and Data Insights team to develop effective strategies that build diverse talent pipelines to meet business needs today and in the future. Deliver clear expectations to the team to deliver on excellence. Disney Cruise Line is a leader in the cruise industry and our guests' expectations of our crew on board are nothing below excellent.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience or ability to drive full life-cycle international recruitment
• An operational mindset with a continuous interest in business results based on the efforts of the crew and officers on board our ships
• The ability to provide the organization day-to-day business direction that will remove barriers, enhance communication, and simplify the execution of work while ensuring a team of Recruiters can ebb and flow to the ever changing needs of the business
• An understanding of existing industry markets through operational or recruitment experience
• The passion and desire to identify new and exciting ways to attract talent through sourcing strategies or new markets
• A natural ability to utilize measures of success to deliver results
• A strong presence in the cruise, hospitality or related industries through past experience
• The background and experience to lead your team in the development of multi layered strategies and recruitment plans that relate to different levels of positions and cultures around the world that excite candidates to want to learn more about the Walt Disney Company
• A proactive focus on effective client service and collaboration with DCL Operations, Labor Scheduling, Legal, Compensation & Benefits, Human Resources, HRIS, Risk Management, and Corporate & Crew Travel
• A desire to identify barriers and solve problems that make it difficult to bring in talent
• Social media activist who is able to promote the Walt Disney Company with an emphasis on Disney Cruise Line
• Knowledge and understanding of Disney HR policy, Maritime and International employment laws and procedures
• Prior experience in the cruise or hospitality industry
