Intern - MSG Interactive

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

We are currently seeking an intern for NYKnicks com and NYRangers com. This position starts as soon as possible, and the ideal candidate will be available to work throughout the summer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Helps oversee the editorial content and multimedia of NYKnicks com and NYRangers com
-Creates engaging user experience for sites
-Monitors message boards
-Edits and writes content in collaboration with multimedia producers
-Tracks Web usage metrics and performance targets
-Partners with Marketing on email newsletters
-Participates in MSG-wide initiatives as they relate to the Web or digital media


SCOPE

Internship provides hands on experience to the emerging interactive field.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be eligible to receive academic credit for participation in the internship program.
2. Journalism background preferred; strong writing and proofreading skills
3. HTML and Photoshop required
4. Strong interest in Sports/Entertainment
5. Must be available to work a minimum of 3 full days, with flexibility to work events/weekends as needed
