Job Description: Development Interns for Spring 2025

Seeking enthusiastic development interns for the Spring 2025 semester,
internship at MA Productions, a boutique production company specializing in both Film and TV.

Collaborating with major streamers and studios, the company's recent series,
''BURIED,'' earned two Emmy nominations.

Remote Duties Include:
• Coverage and analysis on scripts and books
• Non-scripted and documentary work

Interns will learn to evaluate potential projects and give their input on existing projects in development.
This is a great chance to dive into the developing process, learning what makes a good story
and also getting to know writers and other filmmakers.

Research Responsibilities:
• Conduct research of up-and-coming talents (directors, writers, producers)
• Cover highlights from the trades regarding exciting and new deals, film and TV reviews, and more
• Search for new books, articles, and true stories
- This includes reading book reviews, covering newspapers (both national and local)
- As well as international magazines

Some responsibilities may also include production-related tasks.

Position Details:
• This is a remote unpaid position of around 20 hours/week
• Preferably done for college credit
