Job Summary:
Lucasfilm Animation, known for Emmy award-winning series like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and other successful productions, is seeking a Production Coordinator. This position will provide administrative support to the VP, Animation Production, and two Supervising Directors, assisting with pre-production, shot production, and post-production tasks across multiple animated projects.
What You'll Do:
• Assist the VP, Animation Production, and two Supervising Directors with calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangements (domestic and international), and event coordination.
• Prepare, submit, and track expense reports for senior staff.
• Coordinate conferences and speaker engagements, managing logistics such as travel, meals, and visitor arrangements.
• Provide administrative support to the production team, including tracking internal notes and maintaining reports across departments.
• Package and ship crew gear and materials as needed.
• Order, maintain, and distribute office supplies.
• Assist with event planning and coordination.
• Complete special projects as requested.
What We're Looking For:
• 3+ years of experience in Animation Production.
• Bachelor's Degree in film, art, theatre, communications, or related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to high-pressure environments with strict deadlines.
• Excellent administrative skills and proficiency in G-Suite, Word, and Excel.
• Project management software experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities and work styles.
Compensation:
The hiring range for this position in San Francisco is $64,300 to $80,400 per year, based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
