We are looking for a Manager, International Franchise Marketing who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, production excellence, collaborative mindset and passion for great filmmaking that define Lucasfilm.
Reporting to the Director, International Franchise Marketing, the Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Star Wars franchise across International markets. This role will also support territory counterparts in the tactical execution of franchise activations/campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Star Wars franchise across all international markets, partnering with territory counterparts in order to execute strategic campaigns
• Maintain marketing planning tools, materials, and documents to facilitate effective campaign planning and tracking across international marketing activations
• Primary interface with select territory marketing counterparts/tier two markets, providing strategic and creative guidance to reach solutions/business targets
• As defined by Director, review and approve select international activations and creative materials on behalf of the Lucasfilm team, managing the review process across additional key stakeholders, as needed
• Create professional, concise, and well-designed presentations to communicate franchise direction/guardrails to the markets
• Consolidate and create overview/recap documents intended for senior management
• Liaise within Lucasfilm Franchise team and champion established processes to facilitate secure access to assets and/or materials (creative, physical assets, character appearances, etc.)
• In collaboration with Lucasfilm Events team, review and approve international requests and escalate (as needed) review process across additional stakeholders, as needed
• Day-to-day liaison to Lucasfilm & cross lines of business counterparts (Online, ILMxLAB, Games, Publishing, Animation, etc.) as it pertains to international strategy & execution
• As defined by Director, perform ad hoc project management with high-level of independent judgment and self-direction
• Develop and maintain strong and trusted relationships across The Walt Disney Company, Lucasfilm, and within each market
• Uphold brand guidelines across all creative materials and executions, providing creative guidance to reach solutions
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field, preferred
• Minimum of five years brand/product marketing experience, required
• Demonstrated experience in marketing communications/advertising across all disciplines, preferably within a highly-matrixed organization
• Demonstrated cross-functional team management abilities
• Strong analytical skills required
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Keynote skills
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
• Must be team-oriented who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic, creative, flexible and effective at reaching the desired end goal
• International experience a plus
