Job Summary:

As Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator, you will report to the Director of Diversity & Inclusion. You will support various people, culture and content initiatives at Lucasfilm. This role will work on key strategic D&I priorities in collaboration with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), HR, Recruitment, Training & Development, Marketing, Communications/PR as well as Disney Enterprise D&I, and R.I.S.E.
You will play a key role in strengthening the Company's D&I vision within all of our lines of businesses including Lucasfilm, Lucasfilm Animation, Industrial Light & Magic, ILMxLAB and Skywalker Sound. The D&I Coordinator will also provide support to the Manager, D&I on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the six Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), track project plans, and assist Manager, D&I in the development of all new ERGs
• Coordinate and organize scheduling and logistics for meetings, events, speakers and brave conversations meant to help Lucasfilm employees deepen cultural and representational awareness
• Assist with cross-ERG efforts, D&I activations and programming, and event planning requests from ERGs for heritage months and cultural awareness (Black History Month, Women's History Month, PRIDE Month etc.)
• Attend relevant meetings to contribute, capture actions, and ensure appropriate follow-through of action items discussed
• Draft internal D&I communications and regularly update the D&I WordPress site
• Develop presentations and spreadsheets, and categorize files in an organized and efficient manner
• Manage the D&I team email alias, monitor employee engagement on internal chat channels and provide supportive information and responses to employees (on a daily basis)
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years of Diversity & Inclusion and/or multicultural marketing/communications experience with a global company or production studio
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Program/project management skills
• Strong Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Mailchimp and WordPress skills are required
• Excellent written communications skills
• Excellent teamwork and client service skills and an ability to interact effectively with all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience coordinating campaigns or business development strategies for key consumer and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) including women, Latinx, Black/African Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Native/Indigenous community, People with disabilities, LGBTQ , etc.
• Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or graphic design experience
• Deep understanding of the Star Wars franchise
