Production Pipeline Intern (Spring)
Job Summary:
Lucasfilm Animation, creators of the Emmy Award winning animated series ''Star Wars: The Clone Wars'' and the Emmy nominated animated series ''Star Wars Rebels,'' are looking for a versatile Production Pipeline Intern to join their production team.
As part of the Lucasfilm Animation Technology department, this role will provide technical support to the production. On any given day, this role may assist the production engineering team in the planning and development of pipeline tools, manage software task assignments, or generate reports communicating progress with production.
Responsibilities:
• Help with creating and tracking tasks in JIRA
• Generate task reports keep production up to date with progress
• Take notes and help with software requirement gathering
• Help with documenting processes and tools
• Schedule meetings and manage calendars for the team
Basic Qualifications:
• Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools (JIRA)
• Familiarity with animation production
• Familiarity with software development based around CG pipeline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with diverse personalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would have a strong background in creating and supporting tools.
Required Education
Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or recently graduated within the past 6 months
