• Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong tone, grammar, and brand voice
• Strong journalism standards, including fact-checking and ethical coverage
• Deep fluency in Gen Z internet behavior and digital content trends

Full Job Description
RapTV is one of the fastest growing hip-hop brands on the internet, offering an authentic editorial voice that mirrors how young rap fans engage with the culture today.
As an Editorial Contributor, you’ll pitch and write timely stories that speak directly to that audience. Your byline will appear on RapTV.com, and your work will help shape how editorial stories come to life across social.

Responsibilities
• Proactively monitor artist news, trending topics, and internet conversations to identify culturally relevant story opportunities
• Submit 10 content pitches per week aligned with RapTV’s voice and editorial priorities
• Write 3 assigned articles per week with clean, on-brand tone
• Use internal editorial guides (voice, sourcing, headlines) to complete assignments independently
• Communicate clearly with the editorial lead about deliverables and deadlines
• Make data-informed decisions—double down on engaging content and evolve from what doesn’t work
• Apply editorial feedback to improve future assignments
Must Have
• 1–3 years experience in editorial or content creation with published work
• Strong grasp of hip-hop culture and Gen Z digital behavior
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
