The 3-time WNBA Champions Los Angeles Sparks are seeking a Partnership Activation Specialist to join their team! This position will support the ideation, execution, and delivery of partnership marketing and sales initiatives that drive value for the team and its corporate sponsors. This role plays a critical part in helping the team deliver world-class partnership experiences through collaborative campaign planning, asset fulfillment, activation support, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and relationship-driven environment. This position works under the direction of the Manager of Partnership Marketing.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnership Activation & Execution
• Coordinate and execute contractual partnership elements across digital, social, in-arena, and experiential platforms
• Assist in game-day activation, including partner signage, promotions, hospitality, and branded events
Campaign Planning & Marketing Integration
• Contribute to creative brainstorms and sponsorship pitch ideas with Marketing and Sales teams
Asset Tracking & Fulfillment
• Maintain an internal database of partnership assets, deliverables, and activation timelines
• Track and document proof of performance (photos, links, screenshots, metrics) to support recaps and renewal efforts
Reporting & Recap Development
• Assist in building mid-season and end-of-season recap decks that demonstrate ROI, storytelling, and creative success
• Collect and analyze campaign metrics and fan engagement data to share actionable insights with corporate partners
Administrative & Project Support
• Support partnership events, hospitality suites, and client engagement experiences
• Help prepare presentation decks and materials for internal and external meetings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Ideal candidates are analytical, detail and solution-oriented, highly organized and entrepreneurial
• Ability to translate performance metrics into a summary of insights, benchmarking and key learnings
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and adobe photoshop
• Ability to update Salesforce when needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Preferred experience in partnership activation and client services
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Hybrid Schedule
• Must be willing to work on-site for Sparks home games and partner events
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA
Compensation commensurate with experience; minimum starting salary $68,640.00
