The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association is currently seeking a:
Project Manager, Tessitura Implementation
Founded in 1919, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association's mission is to perform, present, and promote music in its varied forms at the highest level of excellence to a diverse and large audience, both at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association is dedicated to continuing its pre-eminent status in the music world of the 21st century.
Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, managing and implementing the launch of the Tessitura system (system and online sales path creation) across departments and venues (Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl), ultimately ensuring it is completed successfully, within budget and within the given deadline.
Position Elements:
• Determine and clearly communicate project stakeholder needs and expectations
• Establish clear set of project goals and milestones.
• Work with staff, Tessitura Network and Web Developer to determine and achieve appropriate delivery dates.
• Oversee Tessitura working team. Monitor progress and adjust efforts as needed.
• Produce detailed project timeline/schedule with assignments, responsibilities and deadlines clearly notated.
• Develop, implement and maintain a consistent and successful communication plan.
• Lead meetings, discussions and training sessions.
• Partner with the Director of Sales and Customer Service to develop cross departmental agreement on database standards, as well as creation of new Tessitura standards and practices document.
• Produce weekly progress reports.
• Prepare quarterly progress reports for LA Phil Board of Directors.
• Develop, implement, and manage ongoing training.
• Ensure department expense invoices are tracked and processed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
Position Requirements:
• BS degree in Project Management or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree requirement.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in project management.
• 3 years experience with Tessitura preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in supervision.
• Excellent problem-solver and critical thinker.
• Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to effectively present and influence up, down and across the organization in both formal and informal business settings.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to remain seated at computer for extended periods.
