The Associate Production Manager, reporting to the Associate Director, Production, will work as a member of production team to manage and support concert production needs in order to ensure successful performances and to maintain a positive relationship with orchestra members and crew.
Position Elements:
• Functioning within a team of production managers, manage all aspects of production planning and execution for select Concerts. For all assigned concerts:
o Communicate with Music Director, visiting groups, other conductors and their managers to obtain and provide production information.
o Create production summaries, run of show plans and stage plots.
o Rent Backline, production equipment and instruments as needed.
o Engage part-time employees and production independent contractors as needed.
o Maintain and track budgets.
o Coordinate and communicate information related to seat holds and kills.
o Supervise stagehands.
o Oversee, set-up, rehearsals and strike; call performances.
