Title: Coordinator, Facilities & Building Operations
Department: Facilities & Building Operations
Reports to: VP, Facilities & Building Operations
Position Summary: The Coordinator, Facilities & Building Operations will work closely with the VP, Facilities & Building Operations and ASEC, to ensure that the UCLA Health Training Center is sufficiently equipment and in the best condition to support all staff.
Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):
• Manage relationships with outside vendors and business supply companies needed for the facility
• Track and order office supplies and any special items for employee supply room
• Track and order supplies for staff kitchen
• Manage UHTC mailroom
• Support and assist ASEC in any way needed (storage facility, facility maintenance, etc.)
• Help maintain schedule for all rooms at UCLA Health Training Center
• Assist with administrative duties to include faxing, copying and organizing/maintaining files
• Support facility/building operations with any special projects or events, as needed
• Ability to work overtime hours as needed
• Work South Bay Lakers home games and schedule on-site concessions
Education: bachelor's degree (preferred)
Previous experience: A minimum of one to three (1-3) years' work experience in a corporate environment
Technology:
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint) and comfort with learning new applications
• Office equipment: copier, telephone, fax, FedEx/UPS machine
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
• Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees and vendors
• Must be a team player who readily accepts new assignments and adapts to changing priorities
• Familiarity and working knowledge of general office machines is required
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a min 25 lbs.
