This is a Full Time Job
Position Summary: This position assists in all aspects of the ticket sales and customer service process. Key projects include managing the Season Ticket Member (STM) Waitlist, ''Select a Seat'' sales event, and shipping STM gifts and ticket packages. Also responsible for helping with any account overflows, working in the box office on game days, and other administrative duties.
Key metrics used to evaluate performance:
• Feedback from Customer Service and Ticket Ops staff
• Survey after ''Select a Seat'' event
• STM renewal rate
Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities**):
CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Manage STM waitlist, anticipating and resolving all complaints, requests, and inquiries driving new STM sales
• Assist with any account overflow (shared responsibility with Ticket Operations Coordinator)
• Non-traditional STMs:
• Execute any special case season ticket favor or request from upper management or ownership
• Work cross-functionally with Corporate Partnerships department to fulfill all season seat needs listed in contracts
• Lead ''Select a Seat'' sales event and handle all logistics (including communications, scheduling, employee volunteers, etc.)
• Manage STM ticket shipping & fulfillment (including vetting dates/times/opponents/barcodes, designing insert, compiling/editing list, printing labels, mailing, etc.)
• Assist with other annual customer service events
TICKETS & OPERATIONS
• Coordinate with Ticket Operations Coordinator to rotate working at box office on game days (both South Bay Lakers and Lakers games)
• Resolve all issues regarding barcodes, ADA exchanges, etc.
• Coordinate Will-Call list
• Coordinate Lakers employee tickets
ADMINISTRATIVE
• Manage all filing – all renewal documents for STM (including invoices/payment plans, contracts, etc.)
• Draft and send out license agreements/contracts (using DocuSign)
• Pull all documents required by annual auditors and/or accounting department
• Work cross-functionally with all other departments on any issues related to ticketing
• Assist with any additional duties as assigned
**Responsibilities subject to change based on organizational needs and direction from management.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Previous experience:
• An internship in ticketing in the sports industry
• Experience with creating & editing contracts
Technology Capabilities:
• Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ticketmaster Archtics, AEG AXS, Outbox, and other related ticketing platforms
• Salesforce (or related CRM platform)
• InDesgin and/or Adobe Photoshop
• DocuSign
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
• An honest, reliable leader with the ability to communicate with all levels within organization
• Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines
• Must be a team player and work extremely well with others
• Ability to adapt to all environments
• Exercise a sensitivity to confidential information
• Familiarity with accounting/ financial management for renewal process
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk significant distances in arena on game days
Location: El Segundo (offices M-F), downtown Los Angeles (Staples Center for Laker home games), and other occasional off-site events
Travel: Less than 5% of the time
Hours: Regular office hours (9am- 5:30pm M-F), plus most game days (both South Bay Lakers and Lakers); must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
