Title: Visiting Clubhouse Attendant, Food Operations
Department: Baseball Operations, Major League Clubhouse
Status: Part-Time, Seasonal
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour*
Reports to: Manager, Visiting Clubhouse
*Compensation rates vary based on job-related factors, including experience, job skills, education, and training.
The Visiting Clubhouse Attendant works with the Visiting Clubhouse Manager to assist players, coaches, trainers, and all related staff with professional needs on a daily basis.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist with catering set-up/clean-up
• Coordinate all incoming meals
• Clean and sanitize food preparation utensils, equipment, counter tops, tables, and work areas
• Prepare and cook a variety of made-to-order foods
• Coordinate timing of food orders so that items served together are finished and presented at the same time
• Maintain food safety health and sanitation standards
• Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
• Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers
• Assist with invoicing and ordering
• Light clubhouse duties as needed
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• A proven experience as Short Order Cook, Cook, or a similar role in the Hospitality industry
• Excellent ability to manage time efficiently
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have general knowledge of the game of baseball
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience working with a diverse range of individuals preferred
• Must have good judgement
• Ability to handle all physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to walk, climb stairs and stand for extended time periods. Must be able to kneel, twist, squat, and bend for extended time periods, the person in this position needs to occasionally move about to access all areas of the stadium
• Associate Degree preferred
• Food service or a related field certification a plus
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
• Valid driver's license
• Food Safety/Safe Food Handling certificate
