FT Seasonal Groundskeeper

The FT Seasonal Groundskeeper will be responsible for field preparation, maintenance, and repair for baseball activities and special events.

Job Functions:
• Batting practice setup and breakdown
• Pre and post-game field preparation, line painting, mound/plate repairs, infield maintenance, etc.
• Assisting with tarping field in event of inclement weather
• Dragging field during game breaks
• Perform related duties as assigned

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Highly skilled in all technical areas of baseball field maintenance, including the use of specialized turf equipment, mowing skills, mound and plate repair, and turf grass replacement
• Familiarity with operating turf management equipment
• Ability to kneel, twist, squat and bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to handle lifting to 75 pounds frequently; walk, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
