The Baseball Strategy and Information team of the Los Angeles Dodgers is responsible for supporting the Major and Minor League Coaching Staffs and Baseball Operations leadership group with data and information needed for strategic decision making. This includes creating evidence-based insights for in-game strategy decisions, along with providing analysis on current Dodgers players and potential acquisitions.
Position Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience with R or Python
• Familiarity with SQL
• Knowledge of sabermetric research and principles
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
• Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Passionate about working for a professional sports team
• Proactive and out of the box thinking
