Job Summary
In-Arena Host will be directly responsible for serving as game host and in-arena personality for the LA Clippers at select preseason, regular season, and playoff home games. Host duties will also extend to other game-like events (i.e. Open Practice), and requested community, fan, or sponsor events under the supervision of the Director of Game Presentation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• During games, host will execute all on-court and in-crowd promotions, both sponsored and un-sponsored, as set forth in the game-by-game script and rundown.
• Attend all meetings related to game presentation.
• Appear in public as one of the voices of the LA Clippers at requested community, MVP Services, and sponsored events. These elements include potential interviews with players, coaches, or Basketball Operations staff. This also includes positively interacting with the community at all requested community events.
• Host will abide by all NBA rules and procedures, and follow the requests of Clippers staff and sponsors.

/ Qualifications
• Able to demonstrate a strong on-camera presence, highlighting poise, professionalism, likeability, approachability, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Creative and innovative personality with ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
• Can create positive energy using both voice and body language.
• Attend game day meetings and on-court rehearsals held prior to all home games.
• Knowledge of NBA basketballs rules and regulations.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays, if necessary.
• Self-starter, dedicated, and highly-motivated.
• Ability to take feedback and implement into performance.
• Present yourself in a professional manner while in public and while working with internal staff. This includes all social media platforms.
• Able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time.
• At least two (2) years of announcing/hosting experience. In-game presentation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated dedication with the ability to oversee projects from origin through execution.
• Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high growth, dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
Audition date
Individual must be available to participate in upcoming audition, held in Los Angeles, CA. The final candidates willbe required to submit to a background check through an independent source.
Submissions must include resume with references and performance reel no longer than 3 minutes in length. Video reels are mandatory with application submission. You may send video links. A cover letter is a plus.
