Full Time Job
As Corporate Partnership Associate, directly support the Chief Global Partnerships Officer (CGPO) and the entire Corporate Partnership department by serving as the main point of contact for administrative tasks, coordinating sales-support activities, and participating in day-to-day aspects associated with the development and implementation of partner activations.
You will be responsible for building pitch decks and presentations for potential partners, answering client questions in-person and by phone, directing calls in a prompt and courteous manner; exhibiting solid business insight; using good judgment; and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. As the Corporate Partnerships Associate, you will take on projects to support the department's strategic and operational needs as necessary.
Principal duties and responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive support to CGPO, including calendar management and fielding and coordinating email, phone, mail and verbal requests for appointments.
• Build PowerPoint decks and presentations for client pitches.
• Schedule, coordinate logistics for, and prepare agendas and presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
• Coordinate and handle general office needs for department (office supplies, business cards, special projects, submission of leadership notes, department subscriptions, storage management, IT concerns, hospitality, and new hire onboarding, etc.).
• Scheduling travel (flights, hotels, transportation) for CGPO and CP team as needed.
• Complete expense reports for CGPO and department credit cards, and process department invoices.
• Keep Outlook contacts up to date (from email lists, business cards, meetings, etc.).
• Maintain contract database and assist with CRM pipeline for CGPO.
• Assist with PowerPoint presentations.
• Proofread proposals, Rights & Benefits documents, and other correspondence as necessary.
• Execute Game Day responsibilities (schedule Game Night Check-in meetings, coordinate CGPO's tickets and guests, create CGPO's schedule for the game in conjunction with game script, guests, partners, and prospects in arena, communicate with Executive Assistant to coordinate appearances and guests for President of Business Operations, and provide on-site assistance for CGPO and team on busy game nights).
Characteristics
/qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, advertising, or sports management (or similar field) from a four-year college or university required.
• 2 years of professional work experience with a consumer brand, agency, sports property or venue required. Sales and corporate marking experience preferred.
• Possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint.
• Ability to establish effective client and interdepartmental relationships, manage multiple client contacts and projects, and drive business.
• Strong project management skills focused on organization, time management and planning. Demonstrated dedication with the ability to oversee projects from origin through execution.
• Possess a strong sense of discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, and be on-call as necessary.
• Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
