Angels BaseballCoordinator, Community Relations & Authentication
Overview:
Reporting to the the Manager of Foundation and Community Initiatives & Account Manager for Authentication, the Part Time Coordinator, Community Relations & Authentication is primarily responsible for the execution of programs directly tied to community outreach as well as the authentication program supporting the Angels Baseball Foundation.
Authentication Support
Authentication & Game Used program tasks and duties to include:
• Collecting memorabilia items after use
• Logging all game used hologram data into the internal systems
• Shipping game used orders through internal sales or auctions
• Management of live game used inventory (logging transactions once items are sold/orders fulfilled)
• authentics@angels.com inbox management
• Work with Account Manager to process sales
• Processing financials of orders with Angels Accounting
• Coordination of MLB hosted auctions
• Scheduling photography
• Item descriptions for listings
• Order fulfillment
Community Relations Support
Duties:
Donations:
Assist with internal and external relations as it relates to our in-kind and ticket donation programs
Internal:
• Donation certificate creation and execution of fulfillment
• Maintain databases through SalesForce for donation requests and fulfillment
• Fulfillment to include communication with recipient prior to game date and execution of any game day and/or on field amenities
External: In-Kind Inventory management
• Approve/Decline monthly in-kind requests through DonationX online system
• Mail out deliver donations as approved
• Approve/Decline requests for Community Ticket Program
• Manage inventory, collection and reporting of tickets
Administrative
• Answer phone and email inquiries for the department from fans and charitable organizations
• Process and respond to fan mail, scoreboard messages, brick orders, and community donations
• Oversee Angels Brick project to maintain cohesive program
• Coordinate online orders and interaction with customers
• Process orders and fulfill requests for the Angels Brick
Additional Duties
• Assist with content creation for Angels Magazine (6/year) and Angels E-newsletters (12/year)
• Liaison between sponsorship / community programs to assist with game day execution
• Arrange for photographer and video coverage of Angels events in the community
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Completion or near completion of Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and days, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Previous experience working in an office environment preferred
• Previous experience in community relations a plus
• Knowledge of Baseball and the authentication process a plus
• Experience with SmartSheet and SalesForce is a plus
• Must be able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks, assignments and duties
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Physical Demands
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in inclement weather (when going into stadium)
• Ability to work on uneven ground (when going into stadium)
