Production Accountant
London Alley is seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Accountant to join our dynamic team at London Alley. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the entertainment industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced and creative environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of production accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
This role in on-site 5 days a week at our Los Angeles office, located near Marina Del Rey.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and timely payment disbursement.
• Assist with reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure cost efficiencies and optimization of resources.
Production Accounting:
• Collaborate with producers and production teams to develop project-specific budgets.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, financial trackers, and any required documentation for each project.
• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders to provide financial insights, forecasts, and analysis.
• Assist with AMEX reconciliation.
Auditing and Documentation:
-Assist with audits, including compiling necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring proper documentation and archiving.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production accounting within the entertainment industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of production budgeting, cost tracking, and financial
management.
• Proficiency in industry-specific software, including Excel and any production accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
